CAN people please just agree to keep their dogs on leads?
I have a little boy who not too long ago was barked at by a rather big dog and since then he’s been scared of them.
A big or little dog coming up to my son scares him. And I know owners say ‘he’s alright, he wouldn’t hurt anyone, he loves kids’.
Whatever - but I don’t want to trust the words of others when it comes to my son and I don’t think anyone should have to.
I think the council need to open dog-only parks maybe in less popular areas so people can take their dogs for a run around.
Parks are for everyone, not just dog walkers.
If you have a dog on a lead, that’s fair enough but please don’t assume others want your dog near them.
