I AM in disbelief, or should I say I should be, that the CYCLOPS junction works is having to be amended again.

The traffic build-up with temporary road closures is understandable but this area has suffered enough because of this monstrosity as it it.

There is a massive blind spot for residents coming into the filter lane to go down Mill Lane from either Clock Face Road or Chester Lane and not being able to see oncoming traffic heading straight across into Clock Face Road from the Linkway itself, but this doesn’t seem to be being addressed, only the fact HGVs are unable to manoeuvre the road with the original layout.

The council receiving funding to do something to promote cyclists is one thing but as a Sutton resident, I’m yet to see how all the money spent on this area alone on this one junction has been worth all the months of ongoing hassle and the suffering to nearby businesses.
