ONCE again, I’m dismayed by the constant negativity some readers of the Star have regarding our town.
A regular artisan market is met with “it won’t last”. The new developments for the town centre “won’t work”.
Even film and TV companies coming to St Helens “shows how far we’ve fallen” - What?!
St Helens is far from perfect and long past its best. And I don’t think our council always have its best interests at heart.
But you know what, you can either be proactive and get behind the town or you can remain a keyboard warrior, happy to live in a town in a slump because, the truth is, moaning makes you happy.
