SINCE the CYLCOPS junction has come into operation, I have seen many things: cars jumping lanes, near-misses due to the blind spots that it has created, pedestrians dawdling across the road on mobile phones ignoring the pedestrian crossings and HGV drivers struggling to turn due to the badly designed narrow turnings.

Recently, a post and pedestrian signal have been hit.

Being an ex-HGV driver myself, I know how tight turnings can be and know that sometimes they need both lanes to turn.

It has created so many problems that never existed before when the roundabout was there.

If for any reason the traffic lights failed, the result would be absolute chaos.
