REGARDING St Helens nightlife and nighttime economy.

Things have moved on and the concept that was once had of “open as many bars as possible as people would come to St Helens for a night out” was always absolute fantasy.

It did however seem to bring plenty of anti-social behaviour, so yeah if you like that kind of thing, then the strategy was super successful.

Oh and let’s also not forget how woeful this area looks seven days a week during the day - all helps makes the town look closed for business.
