REGARDING last week’s comment about the way pedestrianisation has affected the town centre.
The issue is a shift in the way we now live.
Retail parks and internet shopping have killed the high street, there’s only so many small businesses that can survive.
But to be fair, even when town centres were busy small businesses still needed deep pockets to establish themselves and/ or an excellent business head.
