IN response to last week’s comment about pedestrianisation damaging St Helens town centre.
It’s not so much pedestrianisation but the lack of traffic access and parking.
We have the most ridiculous road system I’ve ever seen. You can travel from anywhere and skirt St Helens without knowing it exists! And if you are local and want to get from A to B in town, God help you.
