I UNDERSTAND workers trying to get better pay and working conditions but I feel they are turning a lot against them too.
We had bus strikes for weeks, people couldn’t get to work without having to pay for taxis or walk a fair distance. A lot of pensioners were stuck home.
The Royal Mail situation is causing havoc for a lot of small businesses.
OK they can use couriers but the couriers aren’t as reliable.
A lot of Christmas presents are being sent to family who may not receive them on time.
Trains: lots of people would be travelling home to be with family may now but can’t.
Nurses: A lot of people’s appointments or operations could be cancelled or put back.
None of the above affects me but I feel for people it is affecting.
Before anyone jumps on me I do support the workers striking and, OK they are doing it at Christmas for impact, but they are not thinking of the people they are affecting.
