THERE have been lots of changes to the way things are done since Covid.
Some may be for the better, others not.
One of those I’m not in favour of is having to book an appointment for a blood test at hospital.
Pre-pandemic, I would make a trip to hospital for a clinic appointment. Nine times out of 10 I would be sent to get a blood test. All done in one visit.
These days, however, I’m told I need to have bloods done. But I can’t get them done there and then.
I have to go away, book an appointment and then make a return trip to a hospital or another health venue to get it done.
That’s a second trip to the hospital (not good for the environment), another parking fee and, more than likely, more disruption to my working day.
Can someone explain how this makes sense?
