In the heart of Wigan, there is a small group of talented individuals working weekly to make special events come to life with their own special way; the choir.
They are an extremely friendly group with talented tutors and just as talented members, and they are always welcoming more! Their professional tutoring means any voice can join! So, beginners to experienced virtuoso’s can be accompanied here!
This humble group practice every Tuesday from 17.30-18.30 and perform at many special events across the local community.
Truly, their show of skill is unlike any other and it is truly spectacular to see something as grand as this come from our local community.
I was able to interview an extremely talented member of the choir: Elysia Pickering, who has been going for 4 years.

They are currently working on ‘The holiday Tango’ for the Christmas concert.

They have been to numerous workshops to develop their skills and watch the legendary Hamilton as a group!
The workshop they attended was a once in a lifetime opportunity with Deke Sharon, who has previously worked on the Pitch Perfect movies.
