The event is hosted by 'Town in the Town', an organisation that focuses on community projects across the borough and recently earned a nomination at the Pride of St Helens awards evening for it's work alongside St Helens College in forming the refugee football team Hope United.

The group have in the past 18 months organised events such as a screening of the 'The Keeper', the movie about ex Town and Man City goalkeeper Bert Traumann at Lucem House.

Town in the Town also organise food drives at every St Helens Town home games in association with St Helens Mobile Food Pantry and have been active on the local schools careers carousel informing students about careers in football in association with the former St Helens Chamber.

All are welcome to join the St Helens Town community at The Lamb on Sunday 29 December from 2pm onwards.
