ANOTHER good weekend for St Helens Swimming Club as they went over Billinge Lump on Sunday for the Wigan Summer Sizzler, and the temperature on poolside was a sizzling.
Lilly Walters made a quick start with golds in the 50m Butterfly and 100m Freestyle with silvers in the 50m Freestyle and 200m Freestyle.
Oliver Crosby was another gold medal winner, in the 100m Backstroke.
Jaxon Pullen got a hat trick of silver medals and a bronze, whilst Ella Whittle and Freya Ashton both returned home with a silver and bronze.
Joshua Baker, in the 50m Butterfly and Amelia Mather, in the 100m Backstroke both took silver.
A big mention also, to Ellie Cook and Max Willetts competing for the first time and both posting several Personal Bests.
With temperatures rising, the first outdoor event if the year took place at Salford Quays with former Rainford High pupil and Eccleston based, Jake Simm taking first place in the 3 miles event.
