BLACKBROOK Men’s 1st team are celebrating an unbeaten season in which they won the Warrington Division 1 League title.
With the league title secured the previous week Blackbrook needed a positive result to finish the season unbeaten but opponents Eagle needed a result to finish in the top three - so from the off both teams were up for it .
Every tackle was celebrated like a goal, with Eagle starting the strongest putting pressure on for the first 25 minutes.
Blackbrook eventually scored from a free kick with Parker scoring a header.
Eagle won a penalty on the half hour but it was saved.
The second half started with both teams again throwing everything at each other, and eventually Eagle scored about 10 minutes into the half.
The second half went back and forth until eventually Blackbrook got their second with a Connor Morley header.
Eagle had Blackbrook on the back foot for the last 15 minutes - pushing for the winner.
In added on time Eagle scored with the last kick off the game.
The final whistle meant Blackbrook claimed their first League title in more than 15 years and remained unbeaten.
Attention now turns to the club’s youth and development side who are challenging at the top of the league in their division with 2 games to go.
