THERE were some excellent performances by St Helens Swimming Club at the North West Regional Championships in Manchester over the weekend.
Hayden Battle stormed to the gold medal, with a Personal Best time in the 200m Backstroke and he took bronze in the 100m Backstroke, with another PB, setting six PB’s in total.
Alicia Ashton set two Personal Bests, one in the 200m Breaststroke and one in the 400m Freestyle. Amelia Mather, in the 100m Backstroke, and Oliver Crosby, in the 200m Backstroke, also figured prominently.
