SAINTS centre Konrad Hurrell has picked up a one-match penalty notice after receiving a Grade B charge in the win over Leigh.

The Tongan centre made head on head contact in stopping opposite number Ricky Leutele's run to the line midway through the first half.

Hurrell will now miss Friday's home game against Salford.

St Helens Star:

The other major talking point arising from the game is the Grade A charge handed to Leigh skipper John Asiata for his tackle on Sione Mata'utia.

No further action will be taken against Asiata, despite a charge that states:

"Dangerous Contact - A defending player endangers the safety of an opponent by making contact to the lower limb(s) of the opponent in an uncontrolled manner in a situation where there is no genuine attempt to make a tackle, and which involves an unacceptable risk of injury to the opponent."
