A UNDER 10s football team are celebrating after winning the Warrington district league champions cup a week after winning the Yorkshire Cup.
Pilkington Lilies Under 10s have had an amazing season, with fellow teams such as their under nines reaching the semi finals of the cup, under 12s winning their cup and under 13s placing as runner up.
Graeme Webster from the club said: “This is a massive achievement for the club and show all the hard work that has gone in, in the last couple of years.
“The club started with two girls three years ago. After one year with number increases, they started playing league games.”
