SAINTS have taken a 26-man squad to Australia to prepare for the World Club Challenge match against back-to-back NRL premiers Penrith Panthers.
But this weekend Saints will play St George-Illawarra at Wollongong (Saturday 11 February) as part of the NRL Pre-season Challenge.
The rules on players for that game are different to the World Club Challenge which means the whole squad could get a run out.
Clubs can field as many as 28 players in week-one matches, including the clash of the Red Vee Saints.
The clash with Penrith will be played under different rules with game-day squads capped at 17 players, with an 18th player to be activated if a team loses two or more players to a failed Head Injury Assessment.
Both sides will have 10 interchanges each.
The squad pictured with coach Paul Wellens at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground is: Joey Lussick, Konrad Hurrell, James Bell, Morgan Knowles, Sione Mata'utia, Sam Royle, Lewis Baxter, Jack Welsby, Joe Batchelor, Matty Lees, Will Hopoate, Curtis Sironen, Alex Walmsley, James Roby, Dan Norman, Danny Hill, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Jake Wingfield, Jon Bennison, Ben Davies, Mark Percival, Agnatius Paasi, Tommy Makinson, Jonny Lomax, Lewis Dodd and Tee Ritson.
