BLACKBROOK Royals will have a remarkable four teams at Sunday’s Lancashire Cup Finals day at Wilmere Lane in Widnes.
The age groups at u12s, u14s, u16s and u18s have reached their respective age group finals and will play Crosfields, Halton Farnworth Hornets, Leigh Miners Rangers and Wigan St Judes respectively.
The 12s beat Leigh East in the semis to get there, the 14s overcame St Pats, the 16s took out Ashton Bears in the last four while the 18 won a local derby against Thatto Heath to reach the final.
Club Chairman Andrew Tucker said: “It’s a very proud day for Blackbrook Royals to have our U12s, U14s, U16s and U18’s appearing in the Lancashire Cup Finals.
“We wish the coaches and players the very best of luck. As a club we continue to be successful due to the commitment and dedication our coaches and volunteers show throughout the year, ensuring our players are coached to the highest possible standard.”
The under 12s game kicks off at 10am. The final game – the 18s – is at 5.15pm.
