SAINTS expect to be without scrum half Theo Fages for Friday's Super League game at home to Hull KR - and for a spell afterwards.
The French number seven missed the previous week's game at Wakefield and was withdrawn at half time at Wembley.
Fages played with an injection to try and get through the game - but that adversely affected his ability to pass.
He was not the only player in the wars in a gruelling game played in blistering heat.
Coach Kristian Woolf said: "There are a lot of bumps and bruises there that we will have a look at.
"You would have to say Theo is in doubt for next week and maybe for a little while – and there are other blokes carrying niggles and we will have a look where injuries are at on Monday or Tuesday and figure out a team for Hull KR."
In Fages absence, young Lewis Dodd could get a run at seven - although Woolf does have the option of playing Jack Welsby in the halves after his fine display there yesterday.
