THATTO Heath Crusaders defeated NCL Premier League Leaders Wath Brow Hornets up in Cumbria to reach Saturday’s Grand Final.
Heath, who have battled through from fourth, won 18-12 and now face West Hull in the finale.
In a commanding first half performance Matty Norton collected Connor Dwyer’s kick through to open the scoring after two minutes.
Heath doubled the lead on 24 minutes when Jamie Tracey powered over under the sticks.
Two Bobby Goulding conversions and a penalty put the visitors 14-0 up at the break.
However, the Cumbrians hit back with two tries to put the game in the balance until the final minute.
Good passing from Dwyer and Ben Heyes sent Corey Lee over in the corner.
The final against West Hull will take place at Featherstone’s LD Nutrition Stadium.
