SAINTS scrum half Danny Richardson produced his best performance in a Leigh shirt as Centurions won at Swinton.
One of three players in the Leigh ranks on dual registration, Richardson produced a brace of try assists, kicked a superb first half 40/20 and earned the praise of Leigh coach John Duffy.
“I thought Danny was superb,” said Duffy.
“I had a chat with him during the week about adversity and what he’s been through in the last few months
“He got us through some big bits of that game and deserved everything he got.
“Generally, we looked more fluent with our attack and looked crisp and classy when we put on our plays."
The other Saints on duty were centre Matty Costello, who scored, while James Bentley impressed in the second row.
Luke Douglas, who is on loan at Centurions, did not feature despite being included in the initial 19-man squad.
