SAINTS are hopeful that second rower Dom Peyroux will be fit before the Super 8s rounds are over.
The strong-running, big-hitting packman broke his arm in the win over Warrington in July.
And Saints, who have lost three out of four since then, have sorely missed what he brings to the table, with the edges looking vulnerable in defence last week against Wigan.
But the news seems positive about his return in time for the knockout games.
Coach Justin Holbrook said: "Dom Peyroux will see a specialist this week on his arm.
"If that goes well then he will hopefully be available before the semi final which is good as he has been a big loss for us.”
