LUKE Thompson has been handed a ban by the RFL's Match Review Panel.
The Saints prop has been hit with a Grade B charge of Other Contrary Behaviour and a one-match penalty notice for an incident after he scored a try during Friday's 16-12 defeat to Huddersfield Giants.
After touching down Saints' second score, Thompson threw the ball forwards and it hit the in-goal official on the leg.
Head coach Justin Holbrook says the club are undecided as to whether to challenge the ruling, but as it stands the 23-year-old will miss Thursday's trip to Wakefield Trinity.
