Tesco has today revealed that it will close seven out of its 13 Jack's discount stores.
The remaining six stores will be made into Tesco supermarkets and 130 jobs will be affected.
Seven locations will be closed, including St Helens, Liverpool North and Middlewich.
Tesco also revealed it will be closing meat, fish and deli counters in 317 of its stores in the UK.

The supermarket said it was making the changes to allow it to run the business "as simply and efficiently as possible".
