A MAN has been charged with several domestic violence offences in Prescot.
The suspect was arrested and charged after police received a report that a woman had been repeatedly assaulted by a man at a house in Prescot on Saturday, November 26 last year.

John Williams, of Johnson Avenue, Prescot, has been charged with four counts of domestic violence offences, two counts of witness intimidation, controlling and coercive behaviour, false imprisonment, intentional strangulation and criminal damage.
Williams, 23, has been remanded into custody and will appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence remand court this morning (Friday, February 24).
