ANNE Slater reports they have two photographs of VE day celebrations in Rainhill.
They were provided to Rainhill Civic Society by Brian Renshall and Dilys Golden.

On Saturday, November 5, Rainhill Civic Society is holding an exhibition showing Rainhill in the 1940s.
They will have clothing, utensils, photographs and music from the 1940s.
There is an audio visual display showing local people’s wartime memories.
The event will be held at St Ann’s Millennium Centre between 10am and 4pm.
Entry is free and light refreshments will be available.
There is parking and disabled access at the centre.
