CHRIS Gill sent in the picture of the milestone.
He tells me on the other side of the stone it says ASHTON 6 MILES.
Nobody got it right but I can tell you it’s near Victoria Park.
Surprised nobody from the Friends of Victoria Park got in touch.
Any more suggestions?
