I WOULD be the first to agree that there are many cases of mismanagement within our economy, but can anyone justify what is being allowed to happen at the front of St.Pauls Cathedral?

It is, to say the least, an insult to common sense. By having the cathedral closed to worshippers, these people have managed to do what Hitler did during the war, but they want everyone to accept it as a peaceful demonstration.

Do they not realise that people are dying in other countries for the right to practise their religion.

There is even talk of this demonstration being a threat to Remembrance Sunday.

Do they think that all the people who lost loved ones during the war and would be deprived of one day in the year when they can join together to pay their respects would accept that this action as being justified.

I think not!

If they wish to complain about mismanagement within the economy, go to Downing Street and let the people in charge know.

May I suggest that common sense prevail and that these people be moved on to allow the people of this country see that we can accept peaceful protest but not at the expense of insulting our respect for a place that means so much to so many.

I notice that so many of the protesters were of an age that they would not have experienced what living through a war would mean.

Go home and talk to your parents or grandparents on the subject and listen to why people feel so strongly about what you are trying to prevent them doing during the coming days of remembrance.

This action could have been more acceptable if it had been conducted in the right place.

But if this persists I am quite sure that your arguments will be lost as the majority of people will treat it as an act against civil liberty and show no respect for what many people lost and suffered during the war, not forgetting it should be everyone’s right to attend their place of religion as and when they wish.
