THE trial of former Saints player Scott Moore was today adjourned after technical difficulties displaying evidence via DVD.
The 23-year-old, who has recently signed for Widnes Vikings, has pleaded not guilty to four charges relating to an incident in June.
He has denied the charges of drink driving, driving while disqualified, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident on Norwood Drive in Lowton in the early hours of Friday, June 10.
Police arriving at the scene at about 3.50am discovered that a Volkswagen Scirocco had collided with three parked cars and a fence.
His trial was due to get underway at Wigan Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, October 26), but has been rescheduled because the DVD the defence wished to play in evidence would not work on any of the equipment in court.
The chairman of the bench Alan Muncaster stated that technical problems must be ironed out before the adjourned date at the end of November.
