A GRADUATE has credited the Salvation Army with helping land her dream job as a community fundraiser.
Emily Cheshire, from St Helens, who graduated last year, found it difficult to land a job, until she secured a stint as a volunteer working for the Salvation Army in Bootle.
Emily, 22, said: “I felt especially low when I didn’t get a job at the hospice, where I was volunteering. “Working at the Salvation Army has made all the difference.
"I don’t think I could have got my new job without it.”
She has now landed a position as a community fundraiser at a hospice in Surrey.
