YOU are cordially invited to “A Haunting Experience”, ghost stories and poems by local poet and former Star columnist Sue Gerrard. They centre around Windle Witch, Isobel Robey, who was accused and tried with the Pendle Witches.
It’s at Eccleston Library on Broadway on Tuesday, November 15 at 7.30 and admission is free. Sue is also launching her latest book. With the regular SMASH nights at the MASH café gallery on Haydock Street and activities at the Citadel, the local poetic rhythms and rhymes are improving their profile.
Sue has agreed to compile a page for my Cultural Activities email newsletter.
