WHILST I’ve never been in favour of fur coats, that's probably the best place for the Sankey Valley mink!
I was talking recently with one of the rangers along the canal near Warrington as to how these voracious non-native killers of our wildlife are almost certainly responsible for the extermination of water voles, now an endangered species nationally, from our local waterways.
They also kill waterfowl and I shouldn't think they're very popular with anglers either.
