HOW shocked I was to realise how St Helens people are, when I had my purse stolen in Safeway by a young girl aged about 15 or 16. She didn't have the decency to hand it in. What do mothers teach them nowadays? I was always taught to be honest when I was young. I think that that has blown out of the window for some.
How would she have felt if it had been her mother's purse? On the same day I heard that two ladies had their purses taken from their bags. All I have learnt from this is that nobody is to be trusted - what a shame.
