LITTLE plea for family facts comes from a lady reader from Oldham who is keen to trace her St Helens roots.
Sue Garside hopes that members of the local Dennett and Forber clans, whose forebears lived off Crossley Road in the late 1800s, can rally to her rescue.
She'd be grateful for any info about those families and, in particular, Andrew Percy Forber and his wife Priscilla (nee Brown).
Andrew was a collier working in one of the Richard Evans pits at Haydock.
ANYONE able to oblige could write to Sue Garside at 22 Beechfield, Grasscroft, Oldham OL4 4EN; or e-mail her on sue.garside@ btopenworld.com
