HAVING played to 300,000 people over the course of three gargantuan shows at Hyde Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers have documented one of the biggest gigs of the summer with the CD release 'Live in Hyde Park'.
The album finds the band at the peak of their powers, featuring a host of their biggest hits including 'Give It Away', 'Under The Bridge' and 'By The Way', as well as previously unreleased material in the form of two exceptionally well-received new songs, 'Rolling Sly Stone' and 'Leverage of Space'.
'Live in Hyde park' also features the band's interpretations of classic songs including Donna Summer's disco hit 'I Feel Love', 'Brandy' by Californian pop-rockers Looking Glass and 'Black Cross' by goth punks 45 Grave.
The album captures a truly remarkable event for both the band and their fans and will ensure that the shows are rightly remembered as one of the decade's most memorable live events.
