RECS found the going tough at Fleetwood Hesketh after winning the toss electing to bat first.

Orchard (52) and Lyon (23) managed to take Recs up to 123 for 4 from 50 overs.
Huyton continued the good work taking the score up to 145 before he was dismissed for 32,
However the tail could not wag and Recs crashed to 154 all out from 64 overs.
In reply Orchard and Garvey had no luck as all the Fleetwood batsmen played and missed numerous times.
It was Fleetwood's opener Wells who was the mainstay of the innings whilst wickets fell at the other end.
Spare
Garvey bowled right through finishing with 4 for 92 from 22 overs as the home side passed Recs total with one over to spare reaching 156 for 6 from 44 overs.

Gibson (26) continued the rescue mission but at 102 for 8 Recs were in deep trouble.
Smith (22) and Hughes (21) provided sterling resistance at the end as Recs managed to post a total of 147 all out from 55.2 overs.

Captain Dunbar brought on utility bowler Cooper who immediately made an impact.
