Despite a depleted team, Huntsman gave Burtonwood a run for their money but a 129 finish from Les Anders helped Wood to a 6-3 victory.
Top of the table St Annes ran out easy winners at Travellers winning 5-1 and then easing off to end with a 5-4 result

THERE were doubles for Furnacemans and Sprayhurst in Week 16 of the Lanes Ladies Darts & Dominoes League, while Mo Marsh of Junction hit the highest outshot of the season to date with a 115 finish against Glassmakers.
Clubs are reminded that the Tommy Martyn testimonial concert will be held at Parr Labour Club on Tuesday, Aaugust 17 and the Week 18 fixtures due to be played on that date will now take place at the end of the programme on September 21.

Thatto Heath and District Darts League
Results, Division One: Prescot Reform (A) beat Moss Bank Labour Club 5-4 to continue their good run to go joint second with York (A) who beat Triplex 6-3 and Springfield who beat Sprayhurst 5-4.
Hope and Anchor beat Union 5-4 to stay two points clear at the top. BWMC beat Cricketers 5-4, Grange Park beat Railway 9-0.
Division Two: Sportsmans go joint second after a great win 5-4 against Globe. Ramford beat Nags Head 9-0 to also go joint second.
RXS beat Green Dragon 6-4, Grove beat Prescot Reform (B) 6-3, Whiston Labour's 'Young Guns' continue to shoot down their opposition with their latest team being Moss Bank Hotel.
With the score 4-4 it was Whiston's G Sinclair who held his nerve to clinch the point for Whiston Labour to make it 5-4, other teams better watch out for these 'Young Guns'. York (B) had a bye but still stay two points clear at the top.
