The Vulcan reservoir is fishing great for silver fish with roach around the 4-oz mark and skimmers to 1lb providing good sport, with the odd crucian carp and large perch. Maggot, caster, corn, worm, bread and meat are all taking fish and there are some big carp in this water that are well worth a try for.

The members-only section at Penkford Bridge is fishing out of this world for roach catches to maggot or casters fished on the drop with pole. There have also been some excellent catches of tench with carp and perch to rod and line methods and don't rule out the tip rod.
The Sankey Brook at Clayton House farm is producing some nice chub.
