A crackdown on the illegal use of scrambler bikes has been launched by police.
They warn 'Operation Off-Roader' will see police on off-road bikes patrolling open spaces and parkland were scramblers are often illegally used.
Officers will give any rider caught using a bike "in an anti-social manner" one warning - but if they are caught again the bike will be seized and potentially destroyed.
Residents are being urged to tip-off police if they spot the scramblers being used illegally. Call 0151 709 6010 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The operation will last for the next few weeks.
