AFTER ending their dismal losing streak on Friday, Saints boss Ian Millward is hoping his side can gather the sort of winning momentum that will take them through to the Grand Final.
With only three games of the regular season remaining, everything is still up for grabs and you barely put a cigarette paper between Bradford, Saints and Wigan for third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
That conquest starts at Warrington on Sunday (3pm) against a side still battling to take the final place off spot.
Coach Ian Millward will call upon the same 17 that triumphed over Huddersfield last week with possible recalls for ex-skipper Chris Joynt and former Wolves prop Nick Fozzard.
Millward said: "I was happy with the quality of our win on Friday and thought we could have scored a couple of more tries. I saw some positives in the Wigan game and that continued against Huddersfield.
"This weekend we have a great chance to get some momentum going. It is a tough local derby, but it is definitely within our grasp to go there and win.
"I am ready for these next three games and they are like mini semi finals before the play-offs begin. They are ideal games for us. The secret is to get hardened, up to speed and not pick up any injuries. If you can get all three of them you usually win the comp!
"They only hand out two trophies and I haven't given up on the second one yet."
Millward praised the effort of Keiron Cunningham who bounced back to form last Friday night.
"For about eight weeks he had a problem with his hip and knee which was very restrictive in training and he lost a lot of timing and fitness. That spell also coincided with a lot of our other guys carrying knocks or being out with injuries.
"If you take that period out of our year, then we have had a fantastic season.
"But with Keiron, I thought the combination between him and Mick Higham helped us lot at the weekend," Millward said.
Warrington coach Paul Cullen welcomes back Mike Forshaw, Lee Briers and Ben Westwood.
