RUGBY league is a brilliant game, men run at each other until they cross a line then they start again! Its ace!
Well what a weekend to write about, the Warrington fixture was certainly interesting and eventually satisfying to behold.
Many people have said to me 'What a great game to watch!'
I would like to take this opportunity to challenge this statement, as in my experience anything that causes 80 minutes of emotional trauma as last weekend's game did, is usually punishable in the court of law.
The vulnerability and tension I felt was equivalent to whenever I engage in a lengthy conversation with Mark Edmondson!!
It was a brutal encounter and I thought despite the heroics of Scully and Hoops in the dying seconds, we dominated the game and deserved the victory.
I know we took a few knocks in the game but despite the adversity it was brilliant to see us have self belief.
Also I thought the ruthless winning mentality was back and clear for the rugby league public to see.
There were many highlights in the game for me but despite all the rugby action the best moment for me was watching Joynty run off the bench in the second half with an ice pack still tucked in the back of his shirt.
It was hilarious seeing him make several tackles before he realised.
I think we have just taken physiotherapy to a new level!
This week we play Leeds and it is a good chance to gather momentum leading into the play-offs.
There is plenty more rugby to be played this year and with a strong desire to succeed.
I am excited to see what we can achieve.
