A MAN has appeared at St Helens Magistrates' Court charged with murder after a body was discovered in a tent on wasteland.
Barry John Winstanley, of Penkford Street, Newton-le-Willows, is accused of murdering Graham Jackson, 26, whose body was discovered in a tent on land known as the 'Flash' off Southport Street, Parr, on Sunday, August 29.
Winstanley, 27, was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court this week.
