Playing with the elements brook established a 16-0 half time lead with tries from Ian Gwilliam, Sam Thompson and Chris Canning with two Canning conversions.

Resolute defence led by man of the match Danny Leigh and outstanding Ben Holland ensured Golborne did not come back in the second half.
