OVER 500 acts, including some of the hottest unsigned talent in the North West, are set to perform at this year's In The City event in Manchester.
Glasswerk and Vman Events present one of the biggest fringe events this year as part of In The City Unsigned, with a weekend long shebang from 17-19 September at The Dry Bar on Oldham Street.
Acts confirmed to perform on the two stages include Flamingo 50, The Suzukis, The Maker, 28 Costumes, Tramp Attack, Art Brut, The Beat Poet, Silva Surfa, The Randoms, Day With Mary and The Reverend Coyote.
In The City has discovered and launched careers of some of the most exciting and influential bands seen in the UK over the past ten years; Placebo, Kula Shaker, Coldplay, Muse, Badly Drawn Boy and The Darkness. Founded in 1992 by Yvette Livesey and Factory maverick Anthony Wilson, In The City has become the UK's International music convention; a meeting point for over 2000 music industry professionals from across the world to come and talk, debate, argue and experience the world's premier new music showcase.
For five days and five nights in September, ITC takes over the city with a host of seminars, master classes, celebrity interviews and most importantly, stacks of live music.
At night, the official delegates unwind and take part in ITC Live, Europe's largest Urban music event, and ITC Unsigned, the most important new music event each year in Europe.
