THE successful St Helens Rhythmic Gymnastic Club, established over 20 years ago, have a massive competition over the weekend at Wigan.
This competition will be their first ever international and will be a great opportunity to see the top British gymnasts in action as well as many from Belgium, Czech Republic, Norway and Portugal.
The St Helens Team are all National Squad gymnasts. Elaine Kibble, 15, is ranked number three in Great Britain; Jade Williams and Natalie Wilton, aged 12, have both represented Great Britain at internationals in Europe and Aimee Marsh, nine, is the youngest member of the World Class Start Squad.
The event will take place over two days with the Overall and Team Competition taking place on Saturday, September 18 and the Individual Apparatus Finals on Sunday, September 19.
Robin Park Sports Centre, Wigan, Saturday September 18 11.45am and Sunday September 19 1pm.
