As a child on my tenth birthday I received '101 great rugby league tries' on video, and I have vague recollections of watching Saints centre Mal Meninga bursting down the left hand flank.
Almost single-handed, Big Mal destroyed Hull K.R in that 1985 Premiership Final and through the tears I learned never to trust big hairy Aussies! (Sorry Hoops)
Rugby league over the years has witnessed to many great tries, involving swift passing movement, pace and precision.
Unfortunately my try at the weekend featured none of those characteristics and I am certain it will never feature in any rugby league video - unless, of course, the RFL in a desperate money making scheme decide to release '101 Ugly tries'.
I thought we dominated the first half at the weekend, with glimpses of our early season form. A stand-out moment was Paul Wellens out jumping the Leeds defenders.
In the second half we just didn't control the ball and we let Leeds back in the game.
We had a few chances to kill the game but couldn't quite make the most of them and it is the little opportunities which are the difference between winning and losing.
This week is the last round of a season that has just flown by. It seems like only a few weeks ago that I was sitting in a hotel in Cardiff hugging the challenge cup a little too closely.
But time flies when you are having fun and that's what being a professional sportsman is - good fun.
The trip to Bradford is next for us and it is a chance for Sean Long to release all that pent up aggression.
Having Longy back on board is a massive boost and I can't wait to see him buzzing around the pitch again.
Watch out for fireworks!
