OVER the weekend I took some time out to watch the Ryder Cup and it was fantastic seeing the European team win.
Golf is a sport based around individual players, but it was amazing the tension and elation created by making golf a team event.
Being involved in a team is awesome and especially if you are as close as the players and staff are at Saints.
In a team everybody is pulling in the same direction and the sense of achievement is magnified when that team is successful. Going into the play-offs I feel nothing but confidence in everybody within our squad.
I am anxious to experience the emotions of Cardiff again especially after this week.
Looking back to last Friday night's game at Bradford game - it was like drinking a cup of tea made by Wello.
It started off with so much promise, but ended up leaving you feeling nauseas and with a bitter taste in your mouth!
The first half saw us match Bradford in every aspect of the game but their physical presence around the rucks wore us down in the end.
I think everybody was disappointed with some aspects of the performance but it is irrelevant now and our attention will be focusing in on Wigan.
I love it when we play Wigan. The derby games are what rugby league is all about!
Big crowds, massive atmosphere and the tension.
It is pretty much like whenever a few of the boys get together for an afternoon Playstation session (minus physical contact).
This week we either sink or swim for us as a team, and I am sure it will bring out the best in the squad.
