SPRAYHURST have clinched the darts section of the Lanes Trophies Ladies Darts & Dominoes League but the dominoes section is set for a photo-finish with just two points separating the top seven teams going into the final week.

THE St Helens Friday (501) Winter Darts League starts this Friday, September 24.

Fixtures: St Josephs v Travellers Rest, Burtonwood v Sidac, Princess Royal v Saracens Head, Brown Cow v St Annes, Turks Head (bye).

You can see from the above fixtures that there has been a late addition to the league.

This means that only the first week of the fixture lists distributed last week are valid. New fixture lists are being prepared and will be out before next Friday.

League fees and doubles entries are required by the next meeting which will be at Burtonwood Community Centre on Wednesday, October 6.

Haydock Darts and Dominoes League

HUNTSMAN climb up the domino table with a good win at Parr Cons, but were easily beaten in the darts. Haydock Cricket had a double over Haydock Social, as did BWMC at Black Bull. Sprayhurst trounced Rams Head at darts but the Rams reeked amends in the dominoes.

Division One: Hope and Anchor had a great win 5-4 away to Prescot Reform (A). York (A) won 8-1 at Grange Park, Sprayhurst won 7-2 at Cricketers, BWMC 5-4 Union, Springfield 5-4 Triplex and Moss Bank Labour Club had a bye.

Division Two: Whiston Labour had a great 7-2 win at home to Green Dragon. Globe won away 5-4 to Moss Bank Hotel, Grove had a good 6-3 away win to RXS, Sportsmans had a great 5-4 win away to York (B) to go second in the league. Ramford and Prescot Reform (B) both had a bye.
