STUDENTS and parents turned out in their numbers to mark the 10th anniversary of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, with the opening of a new studio at Lester Drive, Eccleston.
Helen O'Grady, a successful television and theatre actress, first established the Academy 25 years ago in Perth, Australia. St Helens was chosen as the venue for the first UK Academy in 1994 and since then classes have been set up in the town centre, Rainhill, Newton-le-Willows, Garswood and now Eccleston.
Catherine Parr, Principal of the Academy, is delighted with the opening of the new studio, which she says will enable even more local children to benefit from the unique drama programme they have to offer.
And, what's more, as the children themselves will testify, the classes at The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy are great fun too!
If you would like to enrol for any of the classes, please telephone Catherine Parr on 01744 758800.
