A FATHER suffered bruising to his head and body and his son sustained a fractured jaw when they were victims of an unprovoked beating outside a Chinese restaurant.
The 24-year-old son and 46-year-old father were attacked on Earle Street, Earlestown adjacent to the Peking Chinese Restaurant, shortly after midnight on Saturday, September 11.
INVOLVED
The main attacker is described as a muscular six-footer, who weighs about 16 stone, and is in his mid-20s with dark-brown hair.
A second man was also involved in the assault. Detectives are appealing for help from onlookers, and particularly want to speak to a couple who witnessed the incident.
The man is described as being 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, in his 20s with short dark hair. The woman was of similar height, with a slim build and shoulder-length hair.
